The BLET Education & Training Department is hosting classes for Local Chairmen and Secretary-Treasurers in the coming weeks, providing an excellent opportunity for newly elected officers to get up to speed with their required duties. Veteran officers are also encouraged to attend.

Training for Local Chairmen, and Vice Local Chairmen (with their respective Local Chairman’s consent) will take place the week of April 7, 2025. The class is designed to help Local Chairmen develop the skills necessary to provide the best representation possible for our members. This workshop will be held at the BLET National Division Headquarters in Independence, Ohio, with hybrid training available to remote participants. The hotel room block cut-off date for in-person attendees is Sunday, March 9.

Additionally, the E&T Department is also accepting last-minute registrations for the Zoom portion of next week’s hybrid Division Secretary-Treasurer training class. This class will also be relevant to General Committee of Adjustment and State Legislative Board Secretary-Treasurers, as most of the material covered is relevant to their respective positions.
