The BLET National Division Education & Training Department held virtual Secretary-Treasurer refresher training last week, with over 50 officers participating via the Zoom platform. The four-hour class provided valuable assistance with the preparation of forms LM-3 and LM-4, which must be filed each year with the Office of Labor-Management Standards (OLMS) of the U.S. Department of Labor. The LM-3 report is required if the unit’s total annual financial receipts are at least $10,000 but less than $250,000, while the LM-4 is filed if total annual financial receipts are less than $10,000.
