To assist new Division officers who will be installed following the conclusion of the 2024 Triennial Election cycle, the BLET Education & Training Department will conduct several basic introductory classes via Zoom in January 2025. Separate classes will be offered for:
· Division Presidents (Presidents/Vice Presidents)
· Division Secretary-Treasurers
· Local Chairmen (Local Chairmen/Vice Local Chairman)
· Division Legislative Representatives
· Division Trustee Reporting (Presidents/Secretary-Treasurers/Trustees)
Required duties for each office, as detailed in the Bylaws, will be reviewed. In addition, instruction will be provided for getting started in UnionTrack as well as the Division Trustee Reporting System, if applicable to the office held.
Later, each Zoom class will be recorded/edited and made available online in the Members’ Area of the BLET National Division website. Details regarding class dates, times, and registration information will be distributed via email in early January. New officers should confirm their email address on file in the members area of the BLET website. NOTE: As a reminder, Division election results must be reported to the National Secretary-Treasurer through the UnionTrack online reporting system within fifteen (15) days of the election’s completion.
