The California High-Speed Rail Authority (CHSRA) announced this week crews have completed the Cedar Viaduct in Fresno. The 3,700-foot viaduct will enable trains traveling at 200-plus mph to pass over State Route 99 and Cedar and North avenues, CHSRA officials said in a press release. Each arch spans 179 feet and is nearly 40 feet tall.
