Members of the BLET’s Wyoming State Legislative Board held their 2025 triennial meeting in Cheyenne, Wyo., on April 16-17. Cory Runion, a Union Pacific locomotive engineer and member of BLET Division 115 (Cheyenne, Wyo.), was reelected to his fifth term as Chairman. The Wyoming SLB represents 925 active and retired members from nine different BLET Divisions.
Also elected were: 1st Vice Chairman George Johnson, Division 291 (Cheyenne, Wyo.); 2nd Vice Chairman Mark Avery, Division 103 (Cheyenne, Wyo.); Secretary-Treasurer Tony Lecholat, Division 624 (Sheridan, Wyo.); and Alternate Secretary-Treasurer Audra Smith, Division 94 (Gillette, Wyo.).
Elected to serve on the Audit Committee were: Tim Blac, Division 31 (Douglas, Wyo.); Russell Sapp, Division 142 (Rawlings, Wyo.); and Michael Fielder, Division 869 (Greybull, Wyo.). Elected as Alternate Audit Committee members were Jesse Abeyta, Division 44 (Rawlins, Wyo.) and Mark Avery, Division 103 (Cheyenne, Wyo.).
