On August 6, the members of BLET Division 644 in Galesburg, Ill., bid a fond farewell to three Brothers upon their retirement. The guests of honor at the retirement party were James VonKannon, John Miller, and Troy Ericson. Combined, the three men have 104 years of service.
“All three of these gentlemen started on the Burlington Northern in the early 1990s,” said Justin Sandlin, Third Vice Local Chairman of Division 644. “They have all mentored many of us younger engineers in Galesburg and are lifelong Brothers and friends. We wish them well and many happy years of retirement.”
