Kevin Sexton, a member of BLET Division 269 in Long Island, N.Y., became the BLET’s newest National Vice President when he was sworn into office on Sunday, June 1. Sexton fills a vacancy on the Advisory Board created by the retirement of Eddie Hall in May.
Sexton was elected Alternate Vice President No. 2 at the BLET’s Fifth National Convention in 2022. Immediately prior to his elevation to the Advisory Board, Sexton was serving as General Chairman of the Long Island Rail Road General Committee of Adjustment, a position he has held since 2014. Per LIRR GCA Bylaws, Brother Gilman Lang will become the new General Chairman.
