The BLET’s New England Legislative Board, formerly known as the Massachusetts State Legislative Board, reelected Daniel Cadogan as Chairman at its 8th quadrennial meeting held virtually on September 7, 2024.
This will be the third term of office for Brother Cadogan, who is a member of BLET Division 57 (Boston, Mass.). In addition to this duties as Chairman, he also serves as Vice President and Legislative Representative of Division 57 and is a BLET Safety Task Force Investigator.
Also elected were: Vice Chairman Wayne Bancroft, Division 63 (West Springfield, Mass.) and Secretary-Treasurer Mathew Cartier, Division 57 (Boston, Mass.). Elected to serve as Trustees were: Joseph Eaton, Division 439 (Allston, Mass.); Nicholas Paige, Division 112 (Greenfield, Mass.); and Bryan Cadogan, Division 57 (Boston, Mass.).
Brother Cadogan hired out in 1997 as a conductor with Amtrak in Boston, and is currently employed by Keolis. He holds several elected offices in municipal politics, the Massachusetts AFL-CIO, and the Democratic Party.
The BLET’s New England Legislative Board represents more than 550 members from six BLET Divisions.
