Pat Darcy was reelected to the office of General Chairman at the Amtrak General Committee of Adjustment’s (GCA) quadrennial meeting in San Antonio, Texas, on May 6, 2025.
The BLET’s Amtrak GCA represents more than 2,000 active and retired locomotive engineers and trainmen from Amtrak, Keolis Commuter Services, Keolis Rail Services Virginia, and TransitAmerica Services, Inc. (Caltrain).
Darcy has been a member of BLET Division 77 (New Haven, Conn.) since March 1, 2003. He began serving as General Chairman effective January 1, 2024, following the retirement of Brother Mark Kenny. Darcy hired out in March of 1998 and earned promotion to locomotive engineer on May 31, 2002.
Also elected were: Vice General Chairman Gabriel Perez, Division 474 (Blue Island, Ill.); Secretary-Treasurer Brad Cleary, Division 45 (Carbondale, Ill.); Alternate Secretary-Treasurer Anthony Carr, Division 40 (Chicago, Ill.); Eastern Regional Chairman Harold Delooze, Division 14 (Washington, D.C.); Midwest Regional Chairman Chad Roehrich, Division 27 (St. Cloud, Minn.); and Western Regional Chairman Chad Skinner, Division 20 (Los Angeles, Calif.).
Elected to serve as Trustees were: John McGregor, Division 192 (El Paso, Texas); Chad Roehrich, Division 27 (St. Cloud, Minn.); and Harold Delooze, Division 14 (Washington, D.C.).
