INDEPENDENCE, Ohio, March 28 — Registration is now open for the BLET’s first regional meeting of 2023, which will be held at the Hilton Milwaukee City Center, June 26-30, 2023.
The BLET National Division is planning a meeting filled with educational opportunities and fellowship. Guests will stay at the Hilton Milwaukee City Center (509 W. Wisconsin, Ave., Milwaukee, WI 53203, telephone: (414) 271-7250 or (800) HILTONS). Meeting registration, as well as hotel reservations, can be made through BLET’s regional meeting website, https://bletregionals.org. If making hotel reservations by telephone, you must mention the group code “BLET.” Room rates are $184 per night (plus tax) and reservations must be made by May 23, 2023.
The Milwaukee regional meeting kicks off with registration and a welcome reception on Monday, June 26 (ticket required). Opening ceremonies will take place the morning of Tuesday, June 27, followed by a closed meeting for BLET members that afternoon. Wednesday, June 28, is reserved for a Family day and golf tournament. There is an additional cost to register for the golf outing. Non-golfers will be free to explore the many entertainment options that Milwaukee offers.
Workshops for Local Chairmen, Secretary-Treasurers, and Legislative Representatives will be held throughout the day on Thursday, June 29. The BLET’s Milwaukee regional meeting will conclude with a dinner dance on the evening of June 29 (ticket required). Attendees will travel home on Friday, June 30.
There is no cost for BLET members who wish to attend the June 27 meetings and the June 29 workshops; however, there will be fees for those who choose to attend the meals. The cost of a complete registration (including all meetings, workshops, the dinner dance, and all BLET-sponsored meals) is $225.00 per person. The price is $175.00 to register for all of the above except the dinner dance. Reduced children’s registration and a la carte meal registration options are also available.
