INDEPENDENCE, Ohio, May 17 — Registration is now open for the BLET’s 2023 Eastern regional meeting, which will be held at the Hilton Myrtle Beach, August 14-18, 2023.
The BLET National Division is planning a meeting filled with educational opportunities and fellowship. Guests will stay at the Hilton Myrtle Beach, located at 10000 Beach Club Drive, Myrtle Beach, S.C., 29572, telephone: (843) 449-5000.
Meeting registration, as well as hotel reservations, can be made through BLET’s regional meeting website, https://bletregionals.org. If making hotel reservations by telephone, call (800) 876-0010, and use Option #3. Guests must identify themselves as attendees of the Brotherhood of Locomotive Engineers Regional Meeting 2023 and mention the group code “BOL.” Room rates are $219 per night (plus tax & resort fee), and reservations must be made by July 7, 2023.
The Myrtle Beach regional meeting kicks off with registration and a welcome reception on Monday, August 14 (ticket required). Opening ceremonies will take place the morning of Tuesday, August 15, followed by a closed meeting for BLET members that afternoon. Wednesday, August 16, is reserved for a family day and golf tournament. There is an additional cost to register for the golf outing. Members and their families will be free to explore the many entertainment options that Myrtle Beach offers.
Workshops for Local Chairmen, Secretary-Treasurers, and Legislative Representatives will be held throughout the day on Thursday, August 17. The BLET’s Eastern regional meeting will conclude with a dinner dance on the evening of August 17 (ticket required). The travel day for attendees will be on Friday, August 18.
There is no cost for BLET members who wish to attend the August 15 meetings and the August 17 workshops; however, there will be fees for those who choose to attend the meals. A complete registration (welcome reception, all BLET-sponsored meals, and the dinner dance) costs $225.00 per person. The price is $175.00 to register for all of the above except the dinner dance.
