WASHINGTON, D.C. — The Surface Transportation Board’s Office of Environmental Analysis (OEA) today issued a notice extending the deadline for public comments on the Draft Environmental Impact Statement for the proposed acquisition of Kansas City Southern by Canadian Pacific.
In response to a request from affected communities for additional time to provide comments, OEA has extended the public comment period to October 14, 2022. Public comments were originally due on September 26, 2022.
