WEDGEFIELD, S.C. — CSX train officials say several cars in a 90-car train derailed in the town of Wedgefield on Monday.
CSX spokesman Gary Sease says 12 coal cars on the train derailed around 3:20pm on its way to Sumter.
Officials are still investigating what caused the derailment. As of Tuesday morning, CSX says they have no idea how it happened.
No injuries were reported.
