CLEVELAND, June 18 — Deadlines for the upcoming Eastern Union Meeting Association (EUMA) convention in Philadelphia have been extended to June 24 to give members additional time to register.
The 71st annual EUMA will be held from July 5-9, 2009, at the Hyatt Regency Philadelphia at Penn’s Landing (201 S. Columbus Blvd., Philadelphia, PA 19106: Phone: (215) 928-1234: http://pennslanding.hyatt.com). The annual banquet will take place the evening of Wednesday, July 8.
EUMA Arrangements Chairman Sean Simon, Vice President of BLET Division 226 (Newark, N.J.), said that guests who arrive for the July 5 welcome reception will enjoy an hour-long meet-and-greet with members of the Philadelphia Eagles Cheerleaders.

The convention rate ($169 per night single or double occupancy, additional for triple or quadruple occupancy) is also available for the three days following EUMA (subject to availability). Deadline for room reservations is 10 a.m. on June 20, 2009.
The annual EUMA golf outing will take place on July 7 at Wedgwood Country Club in Turnersville, N.J. Bus service will be provided from the hotel to the golf course and a limited number of rental clubs will be available. Please use the following form to register:
