CLEVELAND, June 14 — The 77th Annual Southeastern Meeting Association convenes today in Greenville, S.C., hosted by Roger Peace and the members of BLET Division 598 (Greenville).
The week long meeting will give members the opportunity to participate in numerous educational workshops while providing an opportunity to relax with their families and fellow Brothers and Sisters.
Workshops are planned for Division Local Chairmen, Secretary-Treasurers, and Legislative Representatives. Social events are also scheduled, including a golf tournament and a formal banquet.
The convention kicks off this morning with presentations by BLET National President Don M. Hahs and other Advisory Board members. Members of the Grand International Auxiliary (GIA) will conduct the traditional state flag presentation ritual as part of the opening ceremony.
