GREENCASTLE, Pa. — Work on a new Norfolk Southern rail-truck facility has caused several roads to close permanently in Greencastle, Pa. The facility is designed to aid in the shipment of containerized freight and is on target to open at the end of 2012. Also on tap for Norfolk Southern are projects in Philadelphia, Harrisburg, Pa., and other states that are part of its $2.5 billion Crescent Corridor initiative on the East Coast.
