ALBANY, N.Y. — Discounted tickets on Amtrak’s Lake Shore Limited, which runs through the Rensselaer Rail Station en route from Chicago to New York City and back, will soon be just a mouse click away, the Business Review of Albany reported.
Travelers looking for a train ride on the route can get discounted tickets by buying them online at http://www.amtrak.com/railsale.html beginning Dec. 13. and running through Jan. 6, 2003.
A one-way ticket from New York to Chicago, or to any stop along the route, will cost $33 during the sale. Tickets are good for travel between Jan. 6 and Feb. 28, and must be purchased at least 10 days prior to the trip.
Amtrak stops along the route include Cleveland, and Buffalo and Rochester in New York.
