Amtrak: Liability protection needed before passenger service could come back to Florida’s east coast

COCOA, Fla. — The Florida Legislature must approve liability protection for Amtrak, a no-fault policy for operating on state-owned coastal tracks in South Florida, before the railroad will agree to bring passenger service to Florida’s east coast.
