BOSTON — Amtrak is offering a 2-for-1 ticket sale through February, mostly outside the Northeast, to lure more passengers as it attempts to meet a December deadline to cover costs, the Boston Globe reports.
The promotion excludes travel Feb. 15-18 outside the Northeast and reserved Northeast trains, premium-fare Acela Express, and Metroliner trains that run between Boston and Washington.
