GENESEE COUNTY, Mich. — The Michigan Department of Transportation reports a total of 36,330 people boarded and got off the train to Chicago in 2012 at the Flint Amtrak Intermodal Terminal on Dort Highway. While there have been slight fluctuations from year to year, ridership from the station has increased in the last several years. Ridership for the Blue Water Line has gone up in the last several years. The ridership for 2012 was 187,991 passengers. There were 115,741 passengers in 2005 and 186,094 passengers in 2011.
