ST. CLOUD, Minn. — Amtrak passenger train service through St. Cloud will continue to be delayed at least through today.

Amtrak suspended its daily Empire Builder service west of Minneapolis-St. Paul on Wednesday because of severe winter weather in North Dakota and Montana.

The train normally goes from Chicago to the West Coast through St. Cloud. Service between Minneapolis-St. Paul and Chicago continues.

Amtrak customers with travel plans along the Empire Builder route west of Minneapolis-St. Paul are asked to call Amtrak at (800) USA-RAIL for updates.

The St. Cloud Amtrak station is off East St. Germain Street between Wilson and Lincoln avenues.
