SALT LAKE CITY, Utah — An Amtrak passenger was found dead this morning as the train pulled into Salt Lake City.

Fire Department spokesman Dan Andrus said emergency crews were called to the train station about 4:20 a.m. and found a man in his 20s, not breathing.

He was pronounced dead at the scene. Andrus did not know the cause of death and said police are investigating.

The passenger’s identity has not been disclosed. The train was traveling from Emeryville, Calif., to Chicago.
