SOLEDAD, Calif. — A southbound Amtrak train hit a tomato-filled tractor trailer Tuesday near Soledad, California Highway Patrol officials said.

No injuries were reported in the accident, which occurred shortly after noon about a quarter-mile north of the Correctional Training Facility west of Highway 101.

The train was not derailed, but was delayed indefinitely. Passengers were transported by bus from the scene to their destinations, the CHP said.

Among the passengers were reality TV star Jesse James and his son, according to online reports. James, who was returning to Los Angeles from Northern California, reported the crash on Twitter.
