CHICAGO — According to a report from NBC Chicago, Amtrak uses specially trained “vapor dogs” for security purposes. Custom-bred to serve a specific purpose, Amtrak says these dogs can detect a single person carrying explosives in a crowd of thousands of people. In contrast to airport security, travelers much prefer Amtrak’s four-legged approach to security.
