OTTAWA — According to a report in the Financial Post, the timing is right for the Canadian Pacific Railway to consider the acquisition of the Kansas City Southern Railway. The Financial Post further reports that even though CP Rail has not shown public interest in acquiring KCS, the case has been made before by others because the railroads have complimentary networks.
