FAIRFIELD — Invited to a “Speakout” forum on Tuesday night, furious Metro-North commuters vented about everything from crowded trains, bungled emergency responses and unreliable schedules to lazy conductors and indifferent management. Only a dozen or so commuters got to speak in the first hour, but their complaints were loudly applauded by a standing-room-only crowd of more than 100 at the Pequot Library.
