DENVER — A BNSF train carrying beer crashed into another locomotive in central Denver early Wednesday morning, spilling the beverage and fuel in a rail yard near Interstate 25 and 38th Ave.
Authorities said no one was hurt in the incident which derailed a few of the rail cars.
BNSF officials called Denver police about the accident at about 4:30 a.m., according to officers in Denver’s communications room. Police and firefighters were told there was no hazard.
Firefighters sent a team to investigate but determined that a hazardous material crew wasn’t needed at the scene.
