BETHLEHEM, Pa. — Bethlehem is more than 70 miles from the nearest ocean, but it may soon become an international port. The Port of New York and New Jersey is in talks with Norfolk Southern railroad to turn Bethlehem’s intermodal terminal into an “inland port” that for the first time could deliver or accept international freight through East Coast shipping channels.
