On Wednesday, January 5, 2005. Beloved wife of Girard H. Child, III. Beloved mother of Barbara Ann Burton and the late James A. Burton, Jr. Sister of Henrietta Cooke, Frieda Malone, Michael and Raymond Lubetski. Grandmother of Danielle and Jamie. Survived by five nieces, a nephew and three grandpets. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, January 22, 2005, 11 a.m., at National Funeral Home, 7482 Lee Highway, Falls Church, VA.22204. Graveside services will follow immediately after service. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Children’s National Medical Center, 111 Michigan Avenue, N.W., Washington, D.C. 20010-2970 or Friends of Homeless Animals, 1548 N Gate Square, #21 Reston, VA 20190.
