CLEVELAND, March 25 — On Friday, the Brotherhood of Locomotive Engineers filed suit in U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia against Secretary of Transportation Norman Y. Mineta and Federal Railroad Administrator Allan Rutter over the issue of remote control.
The suit alleges that the two violated the law by not properly administering the Federal Railroad Safety Act of 1970, and the Locomotive Inspection Act.
