INDEPENDENCE, Ohio, April 29 — As previously reported, the 2020 BLET regional meeting scheduled for Milwaukee, Wisc. (June 22-26) has been postponed due to ongoing travel restrictions as well as limitations on the size of gatherings due to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. The BLET plans to reschedule the meeting for later in the year, and is in the process of sending refunds to those who may have already paid for meeting event reservations. Due to these circumstances, the National Division also is suspending the publication of its commemorative Regional Meeting Program and golf sponsorships for 2020. Meanwhile, the regional meeting in Cincinnati, Ohio remains scheduled for August 17-21, 2020, and the BLET regional meeting website (https://bletregionals.org) is accepting reservations. The BLET will continue to monitor the course of the pandemic, and evaluate the public health measures in place in the coming months.
