WASHINGTON, D.C. — According to the Journal of Commerce, BNSF Railway will increase its capital spending in 2011 by $300 million. The additional spending will bring total spending for the year to $3.8 billion. Part of the increase will go to improving part of BNSF’s network damaged by Midwest floods.
