NEW YORK — Burlington Northern Santa Fe Corp. (BNI.N) on Tuesday said fourth-quarter earnings increased, driven by record freight volumes.
The No. 2 U.S. railroad said earnings grew to $347 million, or 91 cents a share, from $226 million, or 61 cents a share, a year earlier.
