GALESBURG, Ill. — BNSF announced that it has named James “J.J.” McGovern, Galesburg locomotive engineer, one of its six Safety Employees of the Year for 2007.
McGovern received this award April 7 at a ceremony in Fort Worth because of this commitment to safety in his workplace. He co-chairs the Galesburg site safety team and has been instrumental in identifying safety issues and finding resolutions.
