BELLINGHAM, Wash. — The BNSF Railway is offering a $5,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the people who started a July 4 fire on the railway’s bridge in Bellingham, Wash. The railroad said the fire caused about $120,000 worth of damage and interrupted rail traffic for about 20 hours. Some witnesses have reported seeing two youths lighting fireworks on the trestle the evening the fire started.
