AMARILLO, Texas — BNSF is offering a voluntary retirement incentive to train, yard and engine employees with 10 or more years of experience. The goal of the buyout is to reduce the number of furloughed workers. If older employees elect to retire, furloughed workers with less seniority can be recalled.
