PLATTSMOUTH, Neb. — The BNSF Railway is proposing to build a new railroad bridge over the Missouri River near Plattsmouth, Neb., and Pacific Junction, Iowa. The railroad says it would be key to its coal shipment operations, particularly coal coming from Wyoming’s Powder River Basin.
