BRAINERD, Minn. — BNSF Railway reports 20 coal cars are off the tracks and 1,200 feet of track sustained damage following a derailment five miles east of Brainerd on Sunday. The railroad is rerouting traffic in the meantime, but has no estimate on how long the cleanup may take. No injuries were reported.
