GALESBURG, Ill. — There are two pieces of good news for the BNSF Railway as it enters the fall peak shipping season. In late September, the railroad, which has its second largest classification yard in Galesburg, shipped more carloads than in any time in recent years. In addition, the flood-plagued Omaha Subdivision recently reopened.
