CAMPBELL COUNTY, Wyo. — BNSF Railway Company will be closing its maintenance facilities in both Donkey Creek and Guernsey locations this summer in response to customers’ changing business conditions and projected lower demand for rail cars to ship commodities, according to BNSF Public Affairs Director Maia LaSalle. This will impact 38 jobs at Donkey Creek and 92 at Guernsey, LaSalle wrote in an email to County 17 Thursday morning. The Donkey Creek shop will close June 5, per LaSalle, and Guernsey will close July 7.
