FORT WORTH, Texas — Burlington Northern Santa Fe Corporation will report fourth-quarter earnings and other performance results at its regular quarterly meeting with financial analysts at 8:45 a.m. Eastern Time January 22, 2002, in New York City.

Presentation material and a simultaneous Webcast of the meeting will be available on BNSF’s Web site at www.bnsf.com. BNSF suggests that those who plan to access the meeting through the Web go to the BNSF site by 8:30 a.m. Eastern Time to download the presentation and install any software required to run the presentation.

For those who cannot listen to the live Webcast, a replay will be available on BNSF’s Web site beginning at approximately noon Eastern Time.
