LaCROSSE, Wisc. — This time of year often brings out the best in people and in this case a group of coworkers from BNSF Railroad, wanting to make a difference. They surprised some kids at Gundersen Health System in Wisconsin on December 19, just in time for the holidays. It took six months for BNSF workers in La Crosse to get permission, plan and execute their special surprise of bringing Santa, by train, to deliver presents to kids in the hospital. Brother Emerson Zentz, BNSF locomotive engineer and member of BLET Division 13 (LaCrosse, Wisc.), was one of the organizers of the event.
