TORONTO — Bombardier Inc. said on Thursday it had won a C$159 million order from Swiss Federal Railways.
Bombardier said in a statement a consortium comprised of Bombardier Transportation and Alstom has received orders from the Swiss Federal Railways to manufacture an additional 30 IC-Bt steering cars and 21 IC-2000 second-class cars.
And the railway has also ordered the refurbishment of 16 IC-2000 dining cars.Total value of the order is approximately C$190 million.
Bombardier’s share as consortium leader is approximately $159 million, Bombardier said.
