BOSTON — Boston has joined the list of major East Coast cities shutting down transit agencies because of Hurricane Sandy. The Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority shut down all service at 2 p.m. due to high winds. Secretary of Transportation Richard Davey says the order affects subway, bus and commuter rail service. It’s uncertain if service will resume for the Tuesday morning commute.
