The Brotherhood of Railroad Signalmen (BRS) has announced that President Floyd Mason will retire Jan. 1. Per BRS governing documents, Secretary-Treasurer Jerry Boles will assume his duties until the union elects a new president to fill the unexpired term. In August, BRS delegates elected Mason as president for a four-year term. He assumed the presidency after serving as the union’s vice president-East.
