THE BRONX, N.Y. — Beer burglars clobbered a rail yard worker in the face with a block of concrete after the victim spooked the suspects during their heist, NYPD officials said. Three of the burglars, all men, cut a hole in the fence of the CSX train yard across from 523 Bruckner Blvd. and started loading cases of various types of beer into a taxi that another man had driven to the yard at about 12:40 a.m., police said.
