OTTAWA — The Transportation Safety Board of Canada (TSB) and Transport Canada (TC) have responded to a pair of recent Globe and Mail reports, which cited “an expert source” working in the rail sector who claimed that a simple air-brake procedure could have prevented the Lac-Mégantic disaster on July 6, 2013.
