OTTAW, Ontario — Federal labour minster Lisa Raitt tabled a back-to-work bill in Parliament Monday to put an end to a strike at Canadian Pacific Railway Ltd. Ms. Raitt also put forth a motion to expedite the bill’s passage allowing for it to be dealt with in one sitting of the House and to limit the amount of time for its debate. She said she hopes the bill would see CP’s freight service resume by Thursday.
