Celebration of life planned for late BLET member Alex Sassman

CLEVELAND, March 26 — A memorial barbecue and safety feed in honor of late BLET member Alex Sassman, Division 692 (Tracy, Calif.), will be held on March 31, 2015, at the Engineering Parking Lot, 9451 Atkinson St., Roseville, CA 95747. The event will honor Brother Sassman, who passed away in an on-duty motor vehicle accident near Fairfield, Calif., on March 16, 2015. He is survived by his wife and three children. Anyone wishing to share experiences and stories of Brother Sassman are encouraged to do so at the memorial. Also, a Memorial Fund has been set up for the family and donations can be made through any branch of U.S. Bank.
