LOUISVILLE, Ky. — By 6 a.m. Wednesday, firefighters had contained a small chlorine leak in a railroad tanker in West Louisville and left the scene.

The leak, which happened early Tuesday night, caused no evacuations. It occurred on Norfolk-Southern property in the 4400 block of Gibson Lane.

The rail car in question is owned by the Connecticut-based Olin Chemical, which was handling clean up, Louisville Fire and Rescue spokesmen said.
